The bass vibrates, the confetti flickers and the red uniforms glitter in the strobo. Through the explosive combination of hypnotically driving techno and expressive brass music, the techno marching band MEUTE has been creating a buzz across continents since 2016.
The eleven musicians from Hamburg in the iconic red jackets break the rules boundaries. What started as a small experiment on the streets of St. Pauli, has become a globally celebrated phenomenon within a very short time. Using only acoustic instruments, they perform a revolution in techno while redefining the idea of the brass band. With viral hits and sold-out clubs, they create electronic ecstasy and invite
you to colourful, intoxicating excesses in sweaty bliss.
After their successful tour through North America and the release of their second studio album PULS, the 2020 tour had to be interrupted shortly after it began; instead, a creative phase was ushered in and much time was spent in the studio. This resulted in more than 40 new tracks, consisting of reworks, original compositions, and many collaborations with artists* such as ÄTNA, Ben Böhmer, Jan Blomqvist or Henrik Schwarz.
