Kat Frankie: One evening, two highlights.
After a sold-out gig in Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and an awesome tour with her a-capella- project “Bodies“ in 2020, Kat Frankie has now introduced her fifth album “Shiny Things“ live on stage. The album is connected to the Art-Rock of the 1990s- with a good amount of bombast.
Born in Australia and living in Berlin for almost 20 years, Frankie won the VUT prize in the category “Best Act“ and the pop culture prize in the category favourite solo-artist. She performed with Olli Schulz and sang a moving Duett along with Clueso for his album.
Her concerts are as fascinating and multifaceted as the artist herself. She welcomes her audience with a wonderful voice and charismatic presence; a spark that immediately catches you.
With Betterov‘s debut “Viertel vor Irgendwas“, published in March 2020, it becomes clear that he has one of the most interesting voices in the German musical landscape. Packed in a easy mix of Indierock and Post-Punk, Betterov talks about themes like gentrification, pressure to perform, and fear of the future, that speaks to a multi-generational audience.
The concert is unseated.
