They enjoy cult status in Germany and Kassel loves them: Les Yeux D’La Tête. After an amazing concert last year at the Hessenkulturbahn they’re back in 2022 – with their new album Bonne Nouvelle!

Since 2008, the musicians have been taking their audience on a very special musical journey: bursting with energy and joy of playing, they take their audience into the dives of Paris and the underground world of metro stations, but also to the banks of the Seine or an eastern European wedding. Whether it’s Sinti swing, French chanson, poetic punk or jazz – Les Yeux D’La Tête use a wide variety of musical influences without being cramped. They tell impressively and sensitively about everydays day-to-day-business.

On their last album Bonne Nouvelle, the band announced that good news are very important in these depressing times. Therefore the twelve songs on their current album tell stories of dreaming, travelling, loving, living, hoping, laughing, dancing and singing. With their French charm, they turn live performances into unforgettable experiences and create an exuberant mood among the dancing audience. This makes them one of the highlights of the Kulturzelt.
