It’s a bit like listening to a Colombian radio station in a pub in London. While you look out of the window into the fog and the (lukewarm) ale runs down your throat, you start moving to the rhythm of the music and suddenly find yourself in a sticky club in Bogota.

Four ladies, who couldn’t be more different, performing on stage and present us with a wild mix of everything that is danceable and exhilarating. The foundation is Cumbia(!), with a good shot of psychedelic rock, surf rock and sometimes even a touch of Black Sabbath or Greek folklore. Almost purely instrumental and is so much fun that – back in the London pub – the next round of tequila is on you.

Their debut album was produced by Franz-Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos (the Greek sounds are perhaps not a coincidence?) and generated enthusiasm by everyone: „It’s impossible not to have a good time watching this band“.
