Sofia Portanet: Since her debut album, the Berlin artist has been a dazzling new star in the indie-pop sky. ‘Free Spirit’ was an absolute gleam of hope shortly after the first Lockdown 2020. The BBC celebrated Sofia as „Germany’s next international pop star“. Der Spiegel wrote: „The set pieces of her aesthetic are the dark poetry and soft-focus melancholy of New Wave, the hypnotism of Krautrock, the red-white-black sixties chic of the White Stripes. But still, a pop pastiche as elegant as Portanet’s doesn’t come along every day.“

King Hannah: Craig Whittle and Hannah Merrick met while working together in a bar and began writing their first songs full of darkness and wit before their bar shifts. In 2020, the duo released their debut single Crème Brûlée. A writing routine developed that led to their first EP ‘Tell Me Your Mind And I’ll Tell You Mine’, which received early attention from The Guardian, Under The Radar, Stereogum and many more. The new album I’m Not Sorry, I Was Just Being Me: a spectacular debut and a clear indication that this is the beginning of a long, productive journey for King Hannah.
