The Italian-German jazz pianist Roberto Di Gioia, known as the mastermind behind Web Web, is known as a friend of extraordinary collaborations: whether with Joy Denalane on the album Let Yourself Be Loved, or Udo Lindenberg – Roberto Di Gioia always succeeds in putting his impressive stamp on the music with great ideaswithout coming too much to the fore.

For Web Max, Web Web merges with the German hip hop musician Max Herre (Freundeskreis, among others). The result: a great work of spiritual jazz that unites both artistic worlds. Max Herre is brilliant as a composer, musician and producer of an album that sometimes floats, is sometimes soulful, but always intense and a wonderful homage to the jazz of the early 70s. With drummer Peter Gall, bassist and co-songwriter Christian von Kaphengt and saxophonist and flutist Tony Lakatos, Roberto Di Gioia and Max Herre have assembled a prominent band of like-minded musicians for Web Max.
